The Venture Research Forklift solution provides fully integrated reader/antenna configurations in a sealed enclosure. The sealed enclosures allow RFID tracking in environments that are high humidity or chilled environments with high condensation or wash down requirements. The integrated reader is well suited for the food processing industry. Additionally the readers are suitable for outdoor and yard tracking requirements by providing an IP56 or NEMA 4 rating.

The Venture Research tethered RFID Hand Held provides the utmost in flexibility at an affordable cost by combining state of the art module RFID reader technology with a Power Over Ethernet capability.

The Venture Research Pebble II continues the tradition of cost effective I/O conditioning for RFID readers and improves on the reader compatibility options and flexibility for reader interchange.

The Venture Research solution provides the state of the art in a portable toolset to allow encoding of RFID tags on pallets and promotional displays in compliance with Wal-Mart and Sam's Club RFID requirements.

Venture Research has pioneered the ability to write tags directly on cartons applied by high speed applicators without the need for expensive integrated print/encode/apply engines. Where traditional print/encode/apply methods fall off at greater than 40 cartons per minute due to the time to encode at the time of placement, Write on the Fly ^TM technology from Venture Research achieves rates of up to 120 cartons per minute.

Venture Research, Inc.'s Slim Line portal provides a cost effective, interior use solution to house reader, antenna, and peripheral components in an integrated enclosure. Suitable for wall mounting or optional pedestal configuration, the portal can be applied to interior causeways, personnel doors, store floor access, and many other uses where a rugged, low profile portal is required.

Venture Research, Inc.'s Smart Shelf Cabinets combine HF and UHF technology to provide 100% accurate tracking of cases and items that are placed in the smart shelves. Suitable for pharma, pedigree and critical item level tracking, the cabinets have been designed for the utmost in security and traceability. Accurate item level picking can be performed from the cabinets with inventory being automatically updated.

Complete with all conveyor, RFID, computer hardware and software, the workstations are turnkey solutions ready to be put into service. EPC and DOD compliant tagging for cases and pallets can be a reality only days after receipt of the equipment. Fully scalable workstations can be used manually, semi-automated, and fully automated with the same software and incremental additions to hardware.

Suitable for pilot implementations or full deployment, the Conveyor Tunnel line from Venture Research, Inc. provides the utmost in flexibility for multi-vendor RFID antenna and reader integration. With the patent pending agile antenna rotator assemblies pre-drilled for all popular antenna types to full integrated and tuned tunnel systems, Venture Research Inc. has the solution for high speed conveyor applications. Two versions are available, Open Frame and fully enclosed "Quietized" tunnels to satisfy operational requirements.

When it comes to putting the application into production, Venture Research provides ruggedized small footpint reader arrays and tunnels delivered pre-configured and tuned. All RFID solutions are designed for the utmost in targeted  RF propagation while minimizing stray RF 'noise'.  Suitable for dock door, conveyor or custom applications, Venture Research can develop and manufacture turn-key integrated portal solutions that can be drop shipped to a site and installed by our staff, our installation partners or your internal staff.

The ROCK provides remote management for up to 2 photo eyes, 2 light stacks, and 2 relays in a single ruggedized package that is accessible via simple TCP commands over a network. The controller can be mounted in Venture Research's standard Door Portal or Conveyor Tunnel solutions or integrated into a customer supplied portal solution.
By offloading the I/O processing and electrical interfacing to dedicated hardware, a simple, standard connectorized interface is provided with all devices pre-wired to be able to plug and play.

Venture Research, Inc.'s Pharma Validator^TM combines three technologies to insure the utmost in accuracy and performance for critical Pharmaceutical tracking applications. Providing HF item level validation, carton level UHF validation, and weight capture in a single workstation, the Pharma Validator^TM captures and validates critical products in an easy to use workstation. It can also be used as the key component in product pedigree tracking programs.

Venture Research has relationships with the top Reader providers including Alien, AWID, EMS (HF), Impinj, Omron, Sirit, Symbol Technologies, Texas Instruments (HF), TagSys (HF),  and ThingMagic. A prerequisite for us working with any vendor is an unbiased rigorous protocol and RF performance test in our anechoic lab to validate claims of interoperability, frequency utilization, FCC compliance, connectivity and many other factors to insure the hardware is commercially viable and can be supported long term. We are constantly keeping up with latest firmware and hardware revisions and are well versed in the readers interaction with dissimilar tags, antenna utilization, external control, RF interference avoidance and many other areas of usage.

For applications that require printing of RFID compatible labels,  Venture Research has relationships with Zebra, TEC and Printronix and has written drivers for those printers using XML templates to describe the unique protocol requirements of the printers. All Venture Research printer drivers have the exclusive 'verify after each print' facilities to insure accurate label delivery and recovery in the event of stock outage, thermal, operator pausing and other conditions that would stop continuous printing.

For mobile applications that require a hand held terminal, Venture Research has created applications for EPC encoding, verifying, cart tracking, and audits, using the leaders in the industry, such as PSC, Psion Teklogix, and Symbol Technologies. Venture Research's development staff are experts in Windows CE and Mobile 5.0 terminal programming and use Microsoft .NET tools exclusively to develop applications.

With resident RF engineers on staff to assist with installing and Tuning the RF environment, a variety of antenna configurations are available to insure proper coverage and matching of tag characteristics.

Venture Research is continually validating tag technology and can assist in tag selection for any RFID requirement in the 865 - 960 Mhz band and has expertise also in the HF band for 13.56 MHZ technology. Additionally we have an RF anechoic test bed to validate tag placement for products to insure optimum readability.
